The history of AUN/SEED-Net goes back 20 years to 2003 when it began its activities after a two-year preparation period. Not many international higher education networks have continued for this length of time with such great achievements. All these are possible only because of the support from all the stakeholders and their partners. AUN/SEED-Net has brought outstanding outcomes which have not only contributed to upgrading the education and research standards of Member Institutions but also developing human resources in science and technology in the region.
During these 20 years, the world has changed in many ways. Internationalization has been further developed through technology advancement. AUN/SEED-Net and the Member Institutions have grown to become an effective and committed network. The extensive human resources built through the project will remain a great asset for both the ASEAN and Japan.
To celebrate the 20th Anniversary, let us hear the congratulatory messages from our alumni and network.
