CEP “SEEN” kickoff meeting has been successfully organized at Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology(MJIIT) on May 9, 2019.
Collaborative Education Program (CEP) for Sustainable Environmental Engineering Network or CEP-SEEN, led by MJIIT, launched the kickoff meeting with the presence from all partners namely University of Tsukuba (UT), Japan, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Indonesia, and representatives from private sector partners–Indah Water Konsortium Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia and Nippon Koei Co., Ltd., Japan.
The consortium offers a joint educational program for doctoral and master’s degree in environmental engineering. Main study period will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with a short-term study in Japan and Indonesia. The consortium aims to encourage students to collaborate with industrial partners through progress research topics, which will be designed based on actual industrial problems and regional issues.
The first batch of scholarship will be available for 3 PhD and 2 MPhil students. Eligible candidate must hold a citizenship of one of the following countries: Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand or Vietnam. The program enrollment will begin from September 2019 onwards.
