Abstract:
The study was planning for the investigation of thermal behavior from the lightweight structure of building in order to mitigate the phenomena of Urban Heat Island. Scope of study will utilize local waste material and prepare the prototype buildings for the experiment. Usually, building facade will store a lot of heat during day time and release to the ambient that can cause high impact of UHI. The impact will be higher in the city area, as no shrubs or planted trees to reduce the heat or UHI phenomena. More unfriendly buildings could increase the potential of heat thermal to the surrounding environment. So, the study is to propose the eco-friendly material for the minimizing the effect of heat storage and thus, create the “cool” environment.
