On April 22, 2022, the Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Kuala Lumpur arranged its sixth periodic meeting through an online platform to report on the progress of the scholarship program, production of international conference papers, plan for a joint degree program, industrial partner involvement, financial management, academic events over the past six months, the implementation plan towards the end of the fiscal year 2022, and the contingency plan for risk management during the pandemic.
The meeting was fruitful as it contributes to the constructive discussion among all consortium partners, including MJIIT, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), University of Tsukuba (UT), Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Nippon Koei Co., Ltd. (NK), and Indah Water Konsortium Sdn. Bhd. (IWK).
Although it is another challenging year, the adoption of constructive and adaptive strategies, and close coordination and support among partners in Japan, Malaysia, and Indonesia, were key to the successful implementation of further AUN/SEED-Net projects. We would like to thank all CEP-SEEN partners for making such impressive progress in the fourth year of the program and for continuing our fruitful collaboration.
