On Nov 25, 2021, as the main coordinator of the consortium, the School of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, arranged the first periodic meeting through an online platform to report on the progress of the scholarship program, international conference and workshop, industrial partner involvement, financial management, and academic events.
The meeting proved to be fruitful for all consortium partners: SME-UTM, Malaysia; NITECH, Japan; MIE-UGM, Indonesia; SEE-HUST, Vietnam; and My Bamboo Sdn Bhd, Malaysia.
Despite the various hurdles posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, we would like to thank all partners for their collaboration and teamwork, enabling us to make progress, and wish the consortium continual improvement. This entire scenario demonstrates the possibility that the CEP can be sustained in the future.
