The 5th AUN/SEED-Net Working Group Meeting was held between 24th -25th May 2017 in Bangkok, Thailand. A total number of 54 participants took part in the meeting among them were representatives from 26 Member Institutions in ASEAN, Chair of Japanese Supporting University Consortium, representatives from JICA Thailand and from the AUN/SEED-Net Secretariat. As stated in the Cooperative Framework, the Secretariat called for the meeting to discuss operational matters as well as ways and means to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the execution of all programs and activities.
Ongoing activities on graduate degree programs, research programs, and mobility programs from Phase 3 were reported. The valuable comments and feedbacks related to current activities and programs as well as ways for more future collaboration and improvement were addressed and discussed.
In this regard, AUN/SEED-Net would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all members for their unwavering support and participation in the meeting as well as the project. It is our sincere belief that we will continue to play a key role, as has always been, in the development of human resources in the field of engineering for the region.
The Secretariat looks forward to meeting all representatives from Member Institutions in the Steering Committee Meeting, which will be held on 5th – 6th October 2017.
