The 2nd Japan-ASEAN Collaboration Education Program (JACEP) Research Forum and Workshop was successfully organized by Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) in collaboration with the JACEP consortium on December 20, 2021. The forum was a full-day event packed with presentations from master’s degree students on their research projects, as well as two keynote sessions delivered by representatives from the ASEAN Center for Energy (ACE) and Universiti Brunei Darussalam. This forum provided the students with an exciting opportunity to share their research findings on various topics relating to renewable energy, energy sustainability, and environmental sustainability with more than 30 researchers and professors.
This research forum was the last of the three planned under the framework of the Japan-ASEAN Collaboration Education Program since 2019. This series of research forums has proven to be not only an exceptional platform for participants to keep updated on the latest findings and trends in the field of renewable energy, but also a place where they can connect and reconnect with one another to keep relationships intact and the collaboration strong.
Once again, AUN/SEED-Net would like to congratulate the JACEP consortium on the tremendous success of this event.
