More than 25 participants including students, students’ advisors, Head of Department, officers from International School of Engineering (ISE), and the Secretariat attended a student monitoring session at Chulalongkorn University (CU), Thailand on September 24, 2019. The purpose of the session was to review the performance of our scholarship students and to update on the scholarship rules and financial regulations, as well as to inform the exclusive opportunities with AUN/SEED-Net in the future after graduation.
Under AUN/SEED-Net scholarship programs, we have a rigorous monitoring session at all universities with on-going scholarship students every year to keep track of all student progress. As of Japanese Fiscal Year 2019, CU has the highest number of 44 scholarship students from Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, and Viet Nam. The students are studying in 5 engineering fields namely Civil, Electrical and Electronics, Environmental, Geological and Geo-Resource Engineering. The monitoring session delivered satisfying outcomes that all CU scholarship students have no concerns with studying and living in Thailand.
