Abstract:
This study aims to design a proper on site processing technology of the chicken manure into organic fertilizer, the waste will become a valuable side product that can increase the industrys revenue while removing the pollution problem. The processing system should be reliable to process all the manure into fertilizer. The fertilizer product is tested to meet the fertilizer national standard. It is confirmed by leaching method that the fertilizers has a slow release features which is able to store and slowly releasing the nutrient in a right dose to the plants. Enhancing the collaboration with researcher from Agriculture Faculty UGM and poultry industry Students learn to solve real industrial and society problems Chicken farming industry can benefits of the developed technology in processing their solid waste. Farmers will take advantage of the produced slow release fertilizers.
