On 24 April 2019, the kick-off meeting of AUN/SEED-Net Collaborative Education Program (CEP) was held at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) with participation of HCMUT, Yokohama National University (YNU) from Japan, Yangon Technological University (via skype) from Myanmar, JFE Steel Corporation and the AUN/SEED-Net team. The meeting concluded with a fruitful discussion on the plan and progress of the implementation.

CEP, operated as a consortium, aims to provide more flexibility with beneficiary orientation to member institutions for self-sustainability after the end of Phase 4. The consortium consists of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT), Yokohama National University (YNU) from Japan, Yangon Technological University (YTU) from Myanmar and JFE Steel Corporation (JFE) from Japan. The program will conduct the master’s degree in construction management in English. Students recruited to the consortium will receive 2-year scholarships from JICA Project for AUN/SEED-Net. Scholarship students will also have opportunity to do their internship at YNU, JFE and YTU.
