On 11st May 2016, the Joint Review Committee (JRC) Meeting took its turn in Vietnam.
The meeting was successfully organized by Ministry of Education and Training (MoET). Honorable delegates from Ministry of Education and Training, Embassy of Japan, two AUN/SEED-Net Member Institutions (MIs) in Vietnam – Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Vietnam Office, and AUN/SEED-Net secretariat participated in the meeting at Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) in Hanoi, Vietnam.
During the JRC, the Achievement and Progress of AUN/SEED-Net in Vietnam and the Future Plan was shared. The important of human resources development by cooperation between the Project and Vietnam government was emphasized as it contributes to capacity development of engineering education in the country.
On this occasion, AUN/SEED-Net also presented the Directory for Engineering (Vietnamese version), a tool to promote laboratory information in Vietnam MIs to MoET, HUST, and HCMUT. The meeting completed with fruitful discussion and valuable comments to the future of the project.
