One of our students from National University of Singapore shares his view about studying in one of best ASEAN nations.
“First of all, I would like to thank AUN-SEED Net for giving me the opportunity to express my opinion about my PhD journey. I was lucky enough to have the chance to pursue my PhD in NUS. The school is a world-class university which has vibrant study environment. Throughout the journey, I have learned about critical thinking which has changed my thought. Furthermore, I have learned that self-determination and perseverance are important for me to complete my study journey. With the completion of my study, I plan to gain some industrial experience before joining as a teaching staff in Malaysia.”
Lew Maan Tarng was a Bachelor degree holder from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia before pursuing the Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at National University of Singapore. His journey toward the Ph.D. started in 2014 and he submitted his thesis to the university in August 2018. AUN/SEED-Net Secretariat wishes him all success in coming future.
