On July 3, 2019, Prof. Dr. UEDA, Chief Advisor/Acting Executive Director of AUN/SEED-Net attended CEP meeting on GAICCE project at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Sirithan Jiemsirilers, Project Director of GAICCE and the officers from Department of Material Science, Faculty of Sceince, Chulalongkorn University presented the current progress of the program including the involvement of Takasago Thermal Engineering Co., Ltd. as partner of this consortium, scholarship for Double Degree Program (DDP), Collaborative Research Grants, GAICCE Academia-Industry Alliance meeting, Guest Lecturer Exchange, and Global Internship program.
During the meeting, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sirithan Jiemsirilers delightfully announced that the consortium has successfully recruited 3 students from Indonesia, Myanmar and Vietnam for the enrollment of the first batch of Double Degree Program. With this opportunity, we invited one of the students, Ms. Mili Purbaya Hasan, to join the meeting for her self-introduction.
