The ASEAN Engineering Journal (AEJ) Editorial Team, Penerbit UTM Press at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor Bahru, Malaysia, visited the AUN/SEED-Net Office on February 14, 2023, to provide an update on the situation and discuss improvement following the ownership transfer two years ago.
During the trip, Prof. Norhazilan bin Md. Noor accompanied the two members of the dispatch team, Puan Hapizah Mohamad dan and Puan Hairunnisa Binti Yunos, on a visit to the ASEAN University Network (AUN) and raised the possibility of promoting the AEJ on AUN PR platforms.
In addition, the editorial team also visited the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University (CU), for a meeting with Prof. David Banjerdpongchai, the AEJ Section Editor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, on expanding the academic journal network.
Flashing back to seven years ago, when Prof. Norhazilan first visited AUN/SEED-Net on February 11, 2015, we reflected on our good memories and how quickly the time has passed. Let us pursue sustainable collaborations between the AEJ, UTM, CU, AUN, AUN/SEED-Net, and JICA during the AUN/SEED-Net Transitional Period from 2023–2026.
