Alumni network is undoubtedly a powerful means for establishing, cultivating and sustaining close relationships among alumni— connecting them despite distance and differences.
On January 11, 2019, JICA project for AUN/SEED-Net representative had the privilege to participate in the First Preparatory Meeting for the Hokkaido University Community (Alumni) Association in Ho Chi Minh City and Inaugural Meeting for the Hokkaido University Saigon Elm Association, held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
During the meaningful and unforgettable event, in which we also met many familiar faces of AUN/SEED-Net alumni; we seized the opportunity to share with the participants about our on-going activities and active programs, in a hope to further connect, strengthen and expand our alumni network.
JICA Project for AUN/SEED-Net is deeply inspired by this special event, by witnessing strong connection, borderless friendships, and unified collaboration among the alumni. We not only want to share the story of this wonderful visit, but also look forward to seeing more our alumni events this year.
