Abstract:

The main purpose of the research is to develop advanced imaging technologies capable of acquiring high resolution images that can be used as an analytical tool to be used in the industrial production line for both 2D and 3D objects. Another aim for the collaborative research work is also to establish a laboratory that can used for research, multidisciplinary education with a potential to give social services to industry and cultural heritage institutions using advanced imaging technologies. Academic collaboration, professor visit and skype meeting Enhanced frontier knowledge in the group related to the research topic The Malaysian art society will benefit from the technology in preserving their precious 2D arts which are mainly painting, textile etc
