Abstract:

We investigated the geomorphology and age of uplifted coral terraces and wave-cut notches along the coastlines of west Luzon, Philippines. These new data not only enable a better understanding of ancient sea levels and seismotectonic processes in the Philippines but also offer useful information for coastal/earthquake hazards assessment. As a result of the project, closer communication with research collaborators and improved collaborative work. Training and skills development were enhanced. New data, maps, and concepts that will be used for coastal hazards assessment
