On November 10 and 11, 2022, representatives from JICA Project for AUN/SEED-Net arranged a business trip to Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT). After the long pause in physical visits to our Member Institutions due to the pandemic, it is good to resume normal operations.
It was our great honor to celebrate the 65th anniversary of HCMUT with physical participation in the International Symposium on University-Industry Linkage (U&I Linkage) 2022.

At this auspicious event, we had the opportunity to exchange insights on the importance of U-I linkage in the internationalization of higher education, strategies, and good practices among various stakeholders associated with the high education ecosystem. The keynote presentation was delivered by Ms. Tonghathai Likhitweerawong, Project Manager, on the topic of “Strategic U-I Partnership: AUN/SEED-Net’s Best Practices and Lessons Learned.”

At the same time, we were glad to witness the tangible outputs and successful results from the collaboration in various programs such as the Special Program for Research against COVID-19 (SPRAC), research projects under the CEP additional output grant, lab facilities, etc. The outstanding success of AUN/SEED-Net and the H3A is also reflected in the second batch of students now studying and having a good life on campus.
