The Orientation and monitoring meeting is conducted annually to provide necessary information to the new AUN/SEED-Net scholarship students, and to monitor the progress of the ongoing students at Hosting Institutions.
AUN/SEED-Net has recently established a unique collaboration with LEAVE A NEST CO. LTD., a company with a vast collaborative network of 100+ companies, 2,000+ teachers and 10,000+ researchers. Their primary mission is to solve global issues through science education, resource training and research development projects by bridging the gap between researchers and companies.
At present, there are 30 on-going students from 5 ASEAN countries studying at UGM, 17 out of 30 students are Master’s students and 13 are PhD Sandwich students.
Ms. Lai Lai Win, first-year Integrated PhD student at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) under AUN/SEED-Net scholarship, received “Best PRESENTER Award” at 5th International Conference on Agriculture, Biotechnology, Science and Engineering 2018 (ICABSE 2018), Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
ASP is a program which provides financial support for our alumni through member institutions to have a network building through activities: seminar, workshop, technical training, University-Industry linkage event, etc.
The 11th AUN SEED-Net Regional Conference on Energy Engineering (RCEneE) 2018 was successfully organized, in conjunction with the15th DOST Engineering Research and Development for Technology Conference during September 27-28, 2018, in Manila, the Philippines.
Dr. Hul Seingheng, Dr. Ratha Doung, and Dr. Chhuon Kong awarded for Doctoral Degree Sandwich (PhD Sandwich) Program Scholarship to study Environmental Engineering at University of the Philippines Diliman (UP) in 2007, 2012, and 2013, respectively, are ones of our remarkable alumni.
More than 150 Participants from our network institutions and others from public and private sectors across ASEAN region as well as Japan attended the conference.
