Towards the 60th Founding Anniversary of Ho Hi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT), the university together with the AUN/SEED-Net and Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) jointly organized the University – Industry Linkage Seminar 2017 with the theme “Strengthening University – Industry Linkage Towards Integration and Development” on October 24, 2017.
The seminar featured many prominent speakers and panellists from both Vietnamese and Japanese academia and industry. There was also an exhibition to showcase Member Institutions and industries in Vietnam. The event served as a platform to share knowledge on potential collaboration between industry and academia in the country.
After the seminar, participants visited Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park, an important industrial site and economic hub in Ho Chi Minh City. All had good opportunities to learn some manufacturing process and other information at Hai Nam Switchboard Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Kondo Vietnam Co., Ltd.
