From November 16–19, 2022, the “AUN/SEED-Net Regional Conference in Materials Engineering and the 5th International Conference on Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology (ICAMN2022)” were arranged in a hybrid mode at the Adonis Hotel, Hanoi, Vietnam. As a continuation of the successful ICAMN conference series, the event was organized to celebrate the auspicious 30th anniversary of the International Training Institute for Materials Science (ITIMS). The institution was established in December 1992 by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam. Since coming under the direct control of Hanoi University of Technology (HUST) in December 2004, ITIMS functions consist of post-graduate education as well as research and technology transfer in the field of materials science (electronics).
