On March 10, 2016, ASEAN students under the PhD Program and Masters’ Program of AUN/SEED-Net joined a monitoring and orientation visit of the Secretariat led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kasem Choocharukul at the Conference Room 1-206, 2nd Floor, Library Information Service Center, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). For 2015 intake, there are one new student enrolling under the Geological Engineering, one under the Energy Engineering, and other two under Material Engineering. During the visit, students from Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Thailand shared experiences on their livings, studies and thesis update. Later, their comments were later discussed with USM faculty staff for better understanding and further improvement of student’s study progress. In addition, the issues of new prospective students for 2016 intake, financial management, including Good and Service Tax, and humble request for future cooperation with USM were talked during the visit for fruitful outcome between USM and AUN/SEED-Net in the future.
