Abstract

Vietnam is one of the largest seafood exporters in the world. However, the prevalence of antibiotic residues reamains in aquaculture products has been extremely limiting its quallity and market value, owing the lack of effective controll tools for overuse of antibiotics in aquaculture processes, disease prevention and noncompliance of antibiotic usage time, short antibiotic withdrawal periods before harvesting. Therefore, the need of early-warning systems that high sensitivity, compacted, and fastly used is emerging; those properties strongly refer to high sensitive biosensing devices. Expecting AUN/SEED-net grant to our developing project, we are looking forward‚to contribute effective efforts to our country and global aquacultre product market. The project is considered as an innovative and prospective idea. It novelty is applicable in the country. The main idea is to introduce new equipment which is used to detect FQs as well as antibiotic residue and be widely applied in all Food Safety grassroots levels.
