“The project aims to develop the integrated technology including green and clean supercritical fluid technologies for the complete transformation of coffee industry waste biomass into value-added chemicals and biofuels. Technologies based on two generally regarded as safe and environmentally benign fluids – carbon dioxide and water-methanol will be developed. The project assess the feasibility of using supercritical fluid based technologies in these biomass rich countries for the development of next generation nutraceuticals and biofuels for a sustainable biomass-based in South East Asia region; building up a complete use of biomass resource to the chemical and fuel in which SCG is one of the case study. In addition, the proposed joint research program intends to strengthen cooperation among Indonesia, Vietnamese and Japanese researchers for more active future research collaboration and development of research groups especially of young researchers. “
